Hair Squared Software is a small mobile app development team. They trusted me to develop the visual identity for their company including logo, website, business cards, and other general swag.
Hair Squared is comprised of a married couple by the last name of Hair. In addition to just being kind of fun to say, I love the name of the company because is was so inherently visual. The concept art below show a number of explorations of hairy squares. The final logo was a result of a successful combination of a number of these initial concepts. Since the company focuses on mobile app design, I opted to give the square logo the familiar rounded corners of a standard iOS app icon.
